The Concept

The Olive Tree Foundation USA, in its simplest form, is a non-profit foundation to facilitate a movement of senior/lead evangelical pastors and Bible/seminary students traveling to Israel to tour and study for 10 days. The trip is at no cost (scholarship) from New York, New Jersey or other similar USA departure points for qualified participants. Each participant is required to make a good faith commitment to take preparation training prior to the trip. Each pastor, upon returning to his church in America, is committed to lead his congregation to discover the Bible as he experienced it in Israel. The Olive Tree Foundation USA is designed to get Christian leadership (pastors and Bible/seminary students) to Israel to study the Bible on-site in its historical, geographical, linguistic and cultural context.^viii
